While this location is situated within the lively setting of Terrapin Brewery at The Battery, Fox Bros B-B-Q manages to maintain its distinctive smoky soul, making it a go-to stop whether you’re there for a casual meal or exploring Atlanta’s vibrant culinary scene. It’s a place where authenticity meets approachable flavor, where each bite tells a story of tradition, passion, and a deep love for great barbecue.
I am a big fan of Fox Bros BBQ in general but I was a little skeptical when I heard about this location located within Terrapin Brewery at the Battery. Would this truly be a Fox Bros or is it a place the serves Fox Bros. I would say after visiting that it is more the later. Now that might not be a problem if you are looking for a brew-pub/sports bar and want to have some BBQ on the side, but for the BBQ purist this might not hit home for you. There is indeed Fox Bros food here, along with other more traditional brew pub fare. It’s a more limited menu than you would find at the main Fox Bros location and as you might suspect from its Battery location, you’ll pay a premium price to get it here. Most of the offerings were between $1 and $5 higher than at the Fox Bros Westside location. (A 2 meat combo at Westside is $22 whereas it is $27 here at the time of this writing, although pulled pork was only $1 more.) My bigger concern was that the meat was pretty dry and you don’t get the smell of the smokehouse here. The wings on the other hand were really good and the sides tasted pretty much like they do at the original. Overall it’s good to know that there is BBQ at the Battery, but it’s also good to have the original locations not too far away.
Truly awesome. Pictures of fried pickles and fried jalapeños were after we had already had some. The half and half basket was awesome. Battered perfectly and perfect crispy. The Brisket sandwich was full and juicy. Pork had outstanding flavor. I expected so much less the quantity was great. I had the green beans was great side. Could not finish pickles and Brisket sandwich plate. Considering its in battery the pricing wasn't bad at all especially considering the serving sizes.
Visited Fox Bros B-B-Q and enjoyed a wonderful and positive dining experience! Food is tasty, B-B-Q just right, and deeeelucious! Our server was outstanding, attentive, and courteous. The restaurant's atmosphere is clean, bustling, and cogenial. It is our (wife) go to place when in Atlanta! Happy customers!
I came to Atlanta to meet an old co-worker for lunch today at this location. Haleigh was our waitress and did a great job. I had the smoked BBQ wings with fries, and they had the pulled pork plate with green beans and mac n cheese. The food was delicious and tender. That Arnold Palmer was everything . The food was great as always and this time it didn't disappoint. This is a great location within the Battery.
Fox Bros BBQ is in the Blue Moon Brewery for anyone confused! It took me walking around a bit to find that out. Once in this they do an amazing job when it comes to cooking BBQ. The tomato peach jam is to die for. I actually ended up eating there 2 days in a row. The brisket tacos are awesome but don't forget to ask for barbecue sauce cuz it can be a bit dry.
If you’re looking for a dining option just before a game this is the place! Conveniently located next to the Chop House Gate and an excellent experience and location. Fox Bros Burger was legit. The only reason I didn’t give three 5 stars was I’m not a fan of either of their BBQ Sauces, I like almost every type of BBQ Sauce other than White Alabama styles, but something about theirs wasn’t appealing.
In town from the UK for work and had to visit. Beers are amazing and such a good selection. But the food! Out of this world. I had the burger which was just the best thing to hit my lips in years. A must if in the area.
Tasty BBQ in the unique setting of The Battery at Truist Park. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but the food was surprisingly good for a touristy kind of area. I really love the baked beans and the cole slaw sides. The fatty brisket was flavorful tender. Service was awesome.
